OpenCausation.org is operated by Causation.com, Inc., in this Privacy Policy, "OpenCausation," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Causation.com, Inc. This Policy describes how information may be processed when you visit OpenCausation.org or use a website feature that links to this Policy.

Current status: OpenCausation.org uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-preserving, cookieless analytics service, to measure general site usage. It sets no cookies or browser storage, does not track individual visitors, does not build visitor profiles, and does not use fingerprinting or advertising. The site uses no other analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking technologies; any change will be reflected in this Policy.
Cookies and similar technologies are small files, identifiers, or storage mechanisms that can help websites operate, remember settings, understand performance, and protect against misuse.
OpenCausation and its service providers may use technologies reasonably necessary to deliver pages, balance traffic, maintain security, detect malicious activity, preserve user-selected settings, or support other essential functions.

OpenCausation may retain aggregated or de-identified information for research, statistical, security, or improvement purposes when the information no longer reasonably identifies an individual and is handled in accordance with applicable law.
OpenCausation uses safeguards it considers reasonable and appropriate in light of the nature of the information it processes, the website's functions, and reasonably foreseeable risks. No method of internet transmission, website operation, or electronic storage is completely secure, and OpenCausation does not guarantee absolute security, uninterrupted availability, or prevention of every unauthorized access attempt or incident.
If OpenCausation identifies a security incident involving Personal Information, it will investigate and provide notifications when and as required by applicable law.
